For as long as I've been reading this I just saw I've never done a review for it. But it's great! I mean it's so cliche but it's new. And I know many of you have already seen a phrase like this many times. But it's true.
And it's the only series that makes you say 'I like Hitler.' Although I don't recommend you say this to anyone who doesn't follow the series.

But Shiro! I got so shocked!
I wanted to punch the director in the face! Saying "you realy do look alike" with a smile as if Shiro and his original (it pains me to say that) are father and son! Im so angry!

At least Mosart cant say he hates Shiro anymore & cant claim that Shiro dosnt understand what its like to be a clone. Mosart was raised knowing, but Shiro will suffer from this in many ways (including hateing his 'father' with all his heart).

The artwork has slowly been improving over time, but that's not focus here. As for the story this time around, everything was moving nice and slowly through the chapter. Nothing really advancing too far, but enough to keep you interested. However, the last few pages just took me for a loop where I had to reread everything again just to make sure I got all of it. I really think that this is great plot twist and is now making EXTREMELY excited for the next chapter.

This manga made me interested in reading the historical backgrounds of the people surrounding the manga.

It also has a different plot and perspective than other mangas out there. I have to question if Shiro is really the doctor's kid though. = There might be something more to the main character that meets the eye.

So this is really interesting! The whole thing about them being clones of brilliant historical figures and the conspiracy... the way it's done is very interesting. The characters are really fun too (haha at first I was like, Napolean's too tall!) It's fun when the stuff you remember from History class gives you a laugh in something you read. I'm going to keep reading, and since I know it's so good from reading it online, I'll definitely buy when I see it on the shelves!

Look at her hair! Exactly like Merie & it was said Merie was to be replaced in erlier chapters!

Love the concept of clone + conspiracy (not new but it works well in this case). The characters are amusing and it simply makes you want to read more. Anticipating how the characters will play their role (Hitler?!). Absolutely purchasing this when it comes out!

The plot is good and so is the characters... I only have the first volume so i was really glad that i found this site... uuurrgghh, i wish i could get my hands on the 2nd volume!!!!

In one way or the other it reminds me a bit of Hetalia because of the use of history and a new way of personification with it, but on its own, its very unique. It also has a bit of Aeon-Flux with it...

I believe this manga has potential though. Interesting, intriguing and a fresh new way of looking into history's "heroes and maniacs"

Okay, I'm getting thoroughly sucked in to AFC now. The mysteries as well as the clashes between Shiro and his clone classmates are really entertaining and thought-provoking.

Will Viz be releasing these SigiIkki titles in print at some point? The question seems a bit silly, but nonetheless I feel I ought to ask.

I'm immensely enjoying the unique qualities of both this series and Dorohedoro, and will almost definitely be buying them both ASAP! <3

So far I'm intrigued by both the concept and the initial execution of this series. The art is appealing, the layouts easy to follow, and the pace keeps your interest without racing along too hastily or trudging up a proverbial hill at a snail's speed.

It raises such a fascinating subject for what I suspect will be ASC's main theme: is one's identity preordained or can strength of will alone dictate everything?

This develops into something even more interesting than the first chapter suggests. The differing attitudes the various clones have toward following in the originals' footsteps are interesting. So is the contrast between Mozart's "I'm a clone prodigy who can't be bothered w. ordinary people" airs & the others' envy of Shiro for having parents. But I found the characters' untrue-to-the-originals looks distracting, altho my problem was w. Elizabeth's non-red hair more than Napoleon's height.

I heard about Ikki at ComicCon San Diego and this was the title I wanted to read the most. I heard that Hitler was a lot of peoples favorite character and cannot wait to learn more about how he developed as a person in this world. So far this is my favorite Ikki title, can't wait for more and I tell everyone I know about it. Great story, great characters, and great art cannot ask for more.

I was dubious about this. The title sounds like a romance manga and the premise is like Clone High. I was wrong. The execution is the important part, and this has that. This is the best title in Sigikki, and I’d buy it in hardcopy. I like that instead of simply cloning the famously *good*, they cloned the extraordinary brilliant, even the morally ambiguous. The plot is organic to the premise - you can't create a group of geniuses and then keep them in the dark.

Afterschool charisma is an interesting, science fiction type, story that opened up greatly. It seemed possible to assume the fate of the character known as marie curie but this was a grea subplot to the first chapter. I cant wait to see where this series goes next in terms of exploring how these clones of prominent figures can do in the modern world.

Also I want to see what role the main chracter has in everything as well.

As a major History nerd, this series was right up my alley. I love seeing Historical figures in manga and the plot itself is very intriging. The only thing I found odd was that as a site dedicated to unique manga Afterschool seemed a little TOO mainstream. The artstyle looks like your average manga while all the other series on the site feature very unique art. But in the end what series its next to wouldn't change the fact that I would purchase this book in a heartbeat if it is ever published

I was skeptical about this at first but after reading it I found it to be very intriguing. The whole concept is really interesting and has a lot of potential; I can't wait to see where it goes from here. I love Freud just as as I do his real life counterpart. His sarcasm is hilarious and the why he mocked Shiro's obsession with his father was great.
The art is very good even though I'm not a fan of the bishi style.
I'm interested in seeing where it goes from here.

I'm interested enough to keep reading this. Things throw me out of the story though, like tall, blond handsome *Napolean* - something about their cloning process must be off LOL. But the setup already has enough suspense to keep me going - who's doing this and why? A character guide would be helpful with this one btw, because I don't know a couple of the historical people referenced by just their first names.

I'll admit, I was very entertained by teen bishie Freud and had a few laughs at the absurdity of it. The set up has a lot of potential to play off their 'originals' stereotypes & I'm assuming the deal with Marie isn't as sunshine and rainbows as Shiro makes it out. I'm interested in getting to know the characters a bit better, and see what conflict arises. I'll be reading the next chapters.

I was really looking forward to this mostly because it sounded like clone high but serious and it just sounded interesting. Thankfully it was good but there were some parts that were iffy. When a clone is introduced their full name is said, it sounded odd but it's minor and i can over look it. I'm really looking forward to see more of the clones interactions with each other. Especially Freud, "Daddy. Daddy. Daddy. Daddy!" ha that part cracked me up.
